Following the success of a packed-to-the-rafters Olympics-themed Breakfast Club in October, the finditinurbanliving team has worked tirelessly to ensure Advantage West Midlands secured another prestigious event for the region.
And it’s paid off! We are now able to announce that in May 2009 hundreds of businesses from all over the Midlands will be able to meet with key decision makers from the Olympic Delivery Authority and main contractors for the Stratford site in East London.
The event is still in the early planning stages, but has been provisionally booked for Wednesday 13 May 2009, at the Bethel Convention Centre in West Bromwich. It will be part of Business Link’s programme of support to help local businesses benefit from 2012 contracts.
Sandwell MBC is delighted to be hosting the prestigious event, which is not only important for Sandwell but for businesses all over the Midlands, who can sometimes feel that Olympics contracts are not relevant to them.
Representatives from more than 500 businesses are expected to turn out on the day, creating an excellent networking opportunity for everyone involved.
